We are 50 this year
and we celebrated this event at our Diwali Programme
Diwali programme was enjoyed by over 150 people seated at tables in a beautifully decorated Hall.
They enjoyed the beautifully presented dances followed by memories of the past 50 years presented by Mrs Raj Modgil and Mr Lalit Nagpaul.
Our President spoke about our current programmes and activities. And finally Vijay Jolly summarised the massive changes that have been put in place to refurbish the building . He also informed the Members about our involvement in the Community and what other communities are doing at our Bhavan.
This was followed by a raffle draw with high value prizes and then brilliant music programme.
And as the evening was completed with a special Diwali dinner by Kanchans of Ilford
A very Happy Membership went home with full stomachs.
